Pattern Imprinted Concrete - Driveway

Stamped concrete vs. pavers

Concrete pavers are individual pieces laid in a variety of patterns. Compared to stamped concrete, pavers are more labour-intensive because of their individual placement, susceptible to shifting over time, and allow weeds to grow through the joints. Stamped concrete can give you a similar look without these issues.

One of the fantastic advantages of using stamped concrete is the wide variety of patterns you can choose from. You chose your flower plants, shrubs, and even your grass to blend together somehow. Not only do they go with your climate, but also with the architecture of your house and the history of your area. So choosing your walking surface's appearance is another step to creating your own theme. For instance, you may live in an older area that still shows the reflections of the colonial era. That would be a great opportunity to use a cobblestone pattern that looks like the streets where horse-drawn carriages would pass. If your home is more in the Victorian style, you might prefer a surface that appears to be made of red brick. Or if you are in or near a wooded area and want a more rustic look, you can go with a wood grain or plank-type design. These are just a couple examples there are definitely patterns available that will meet your need.

  • An excellent performance and longevity, easy to maintain, doesn't crack or collapse, doesn't grow grass like inter lock ;
  • Your landscape elevates the value of your property ;
  • With the multitude of design options possible with stamped concrete, zeroing in on a specific pattern and colour scheme can be quite a challenge, but well worth your time and effort ;
  • Remember, stamped concrete will last a long time and be a highly visible architectural element of your home or business, so it's important to choose a design that harmonizes with the setting and will still appeal to you 10 years from now and beyond (or to a potential buyer when you sell your property)
